DevOps Engineer

Location: Hybrid – Manchester office & Remote

Salary: £39,000 – £46,000 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Benefits: 28 days holiday, hybrid working, performance-based bonus

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based systems. You’ll play a vital role in improving infrastructure automation and CI/CD processes for client-facing applications across various public and private sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
• Deploy and manage cloud services on AWS and Azure
• Integrate GitHub workflows and DevSecOps practices
• Collaborate with development teams for secure and scalable deployments

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with AWS and Azure environments
• Strong command of GitHub and version control practices
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud security principles

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS DevOps, Azure DevOps) are a plus
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
